FIFA Rankings Update: Scotland 19th
Fifa have just released their latest rankings update. Unfortunately, Scotland have fallen 3 places to 19.
It seems the recent defeat in Italy has hurt the Scotland team’s listing. A 26 point drop has pushed us 3 spots lower. That, together with good recent form by Russia, Mexico and Turkey has sent Scotland in the wrong direction.
At the same time Italy have taken the number one position. The deafeat of Scotland was obviously enough to establish them as the world’s best.
