Victory over Croatia!

Posted in Gordon Strachan, World Cup 2014 with tags , on October 17, 2013 by Tartan Army Soldier

Scotland are back on form! With a superb 2-0 victory over Croatia, Strachan’s Scotland squad have shown us that they are now a force to be reckoned with.

Robert Snodgrass and Steven Naismith were the two heroes of the match. Snodgrass opened the scoring with an outstanding header into the Croatian goal in the 28th minute. Barry Bannan would have added his name to the scoresheet if his penalty had not been expertly saved by the Croatian goalkeeper. But, Naismith was quick enough to ponce on the rebound, sinking the ball into the Croatian to seal the 2-0 victory. A great night for Gordon Strachan and a superb effort from the Scotland team. Well done all!

Now for USA! They are going to have a tough match in November 🙂
