Scotland win in Poland

The Scotland team has done itself once again, with Scott Brown’s 78th minute goal securing a 1 – 0 victory over Poland.

This victory is important for two reason. Being the fifth match without defeat, it strongly suggests that Gordon Strachan’s efforts are paying dividends and the team are improving. On top of that, Poland is in Scotland’s Euro 2016 group. By defeating them in Warsaw the team has sent a strong message that they are not to be overlooked in the coming contest. Scotland is on the rise again, and has every chance of progressing to the finals of Euro 2016.
